Cardinals vs Giants Game 7 Part 2

After watching game 7 of the NLCS on Monday night, I realize that the Cardinals lost their fight. I knew after watching the series with the Nationals that they were going to have to fight through out the playoffs. In my opinion, they really made the Giants look better than they are. Hold on now, like I said, that's just my opinion SF fans. To me, the Giants just capitalized on some of the Cardinal's bad pitching, errors, and lack of scoring. Now there's nothing wrong with that but it is what it is. Now as I stated above, you can not win a game by leaving men on base. You have to bring them home every chance you get. I think the Cardinals need to really work on the basics of hitting in game situations. There must be a balance of patience at the plate and aggressive hitting.

The remember the movie Rocky III? He got so caught up in being the champ and all the perks, that he started slacking in his training. So while Rocky was signing autographs, their was a guy by the name of Clubber Lane in the wings who was so hungry for the title that he could taste it. Well, we know what happened after that right? Rocky got his butt kicked by Clubber so bad that not only he lost the championship belt but also his fight. It took Apollo Creed motivating by telling him not what he wanted to hear but what he needed to hear. So, did the Cardinals get cocky? That is up for discussion but I will say this. In order for our Redbirds to to win it all again, it's going to take an Apollo Creed, one who is not afraid of telling the truth without sugar coating it, to get in their faces to bring back the hungry, the eye of the tiger, and fight!
